We’ve added the ability to specify a particular rat species when recording a catch: kiore (Rattus exulans), Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus) and ship rat (Rattus rattus).
You can still record plain old rat if you can’t, or don’t need to, identify the species.
The species selection works hierarchically in all reports. If you select rat it will assume all rat species, but if you select kiore it will only show records with kiore catches.
We will also be adding the ability to optionally record age and gender against catches.
