Would be handy to be able to associate traps, people and dates in some way to manage trapline scheduling.
Failing that, is there any shared calendar app out there that people are using now?
@jeremy.dean I agree a calendar function would be good! Especially if it sent out reminders to trappers about their check dates.
We’ve occasionally used Google Calendar before in one group I work with, but if only some people have a Google account then it doesn’t work quite as effectively. It ended up being less work to just screenshot several months at a time off the calendar, drop colour-coded highlights over the calendar for different assigned weeks, then email it out.
It does make scheduling simpler if the project is already divided into lines, but I know some groups do custom area divisions for each visit depending on how many trappers are available. Also, some big projects just have a lot of lines to assign!
