It would be great if all the fields displayed as headers in Manage Trap Records could be sortable. At the moment, I can see information like “recorded by”, “rebaited with” and “image”, but there isn’t any way to sort by those fields. Applying filters to specific fields and/or exporting to a sortable Excel sheet can sometimes help, but these aren’t always an ideal workaround.
One instance when I would really have liked to use the “sort” function was when I wanted to find images for a newsletter item about our trapping; instead I had to manually scroll through all the records looking for ones with an “image” icon next to them.
I gather from past queries about the sort function that currently only the mandatory data fields are sortable and optional ones aren’t, in order to allow the optional fields to be hidden if there is no data, so I’m not sure how easy this request would be to implement. However, it would be a nice feature to have if it is possible!
