Android application has missing/non-standard icons

Hi - my Trap.NZ application is no longer correctly displaying the application icons.

As per screenshot, it’s showing either an [X] or text from a non-Roman character set.

  • I’ve tried to flush the project cache and reinstalled the application - neither fixes it
  • Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20.
  • These have displayed OK in the past, however…
  • The OS was updated to Android v11 on 3rd January - I believe it may have broken after that update

Has anyone else come across this problem or are you running S20/Android v11 without any problems?

This looks to have been a platform issue and was resolved with the latest android update :+1:t2:

Hi @iainf,

Your S20 wasn’t a DoC issued phone was it?

Phones we have seen this on so far:

2 x Galaxy S10e Android 11 (DoC issue)
1 x Galaxy S20 Android 11

Nah, it was parallel imported though, so could be related to that I guess.

Weirder thing was that it was working fine before and has worked since too, so does look like it was something to do with something in the android update.
