Hi we’re just installing our first AT220. How do we stop the bait from dripping on the webbing? I heard that the rats will eat the webbing to get the bait off it. Thanks. Helen

@lnmcm26 - this is part of the lure process. Don’t worry about the bait dripping onto the webbing as it holds the smell of the lure and becomes part of the attractant to bring possums and rats in to investigate the trap. We have over 20 of these traps out across our area, and have had no problems with the webbing being eaten by rats. One of our property owners has caught 120+ possums and rats in the last 20 months with two of these traps. Our recent issue has been feral pigs devouring possums that have been caught in a trap - and pulling the trap off a tree!! (I wonder if TrapNZ will come up with a pig trap version of these traps!!)
