Bait-taken heatmap by percentage take not weight?

Is it possible to have an option where the bait-taken heatmaps are generated based on the percentage-eaten of total bait filled into that station?

Currently, the heatmaps I’m generating are coloured based only on total bait eaten in kg, and the display isn’t working very well as a result. I want my heatmap to highlight areas where stations are regularly empty vs areas where the stations are barely touched. I don’t really want my heatmap to show that person A refills their stations 4 times per pulse and person B refills their stations 3 times per pulse, or that person C’s line was created later than A’s and B’s lines, or that person D bought different bait stations that take half the number of blocks.

I’ve tried filtering by line to remove this bias, but the heatmap colouring doesn’t reset when I do, so some lines are still all see-through/green while others are all orange/red. Even recoloured by line, I suspect new or missing-and-replaced stations on the line would still pop out of the display due to having a different number of visits.

If anyone has a better idea than %-eaten for removing this data bias in community/back-yard projects that aren’t using a uniform baiting/recording method, please comment!

Thats an interesting question, Christina.
We use the current heat maps which have highlighted where rats are coming into our suburban project area. Its helped plan new lines. Heat maps have been a morale booster to show the difference our project is making over time. Heat maps have given an early indicator that something has changed in a particular location.
Your request would seem to open possibilities of even more information and possibly understanding.
