Best Thermal Camera for Predator Control – Which One Would You Recommend?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to buy a thermal camera for predator control, wildlife monitoring, and general outdoor use. After comparing reviews and checking what seems to be selling well on Amazon, these are the models I’m considering:

My priorities are:

  • Clear image quality
  • Long detection range
  • Reliable performance in the field
  • Good battery life
  • Value for money

Has anyone here used any of these? Which one would you trust most for real-world predator control and wildlife spotting? I’d really appreciate hearing your experience before I make a purchase.

I use pulsar which were the best you could get at the time for the money, i would now buy Hikmicro

Well, what are you wanting to do with these hand held cameras? Are you wanting to walk around and find pest animals?

As opposed to attaching a thermal camera to a tree and monitoring what comes past?
