I’m new to trapping and have evidence of possums in my backyard. I want to get a flipping Timmy possum trap but I’m worried about my cat and the neighbours cats. Any advice?
Apples are a great bait for possums, and usually don’t have too much of an interest in cats.
If possible, maybe giving your neighbours a heads up and only setting it at night and keeping the cats in??
What sort of tree are you placing it in? If in a vertical tree the cats shouldn’t maybe have too much interest in it. Could be wrong
