First kill recorded since setting up trap and my cat managed to remove the back gate and bring home the dead rat caught along with the trap. I’ve wedged the gate with twigs but I don’t think that will hold him back from getting to the next kill. I think the wires are too short so makes it easy for him to slip it out from the sleeve. Where can I get a new mesh gate with slightly longer wires? Or are there other ways to stop the cat pulling out the gate?
