Seems that East and West are switched on the Android app after update. Bearings are wrong. Seems like it is set for Northern hemisphere. Have completed hard reset but still an issue.
@shanemann thank you for bringing this to our attention. It does appear the compass is broken in the app at present. We are looking into this issue now
