Fake mice for stoat and weasel traps

I assume this might have come up before, but has anyone tried fake realistic mice in traps as a lure? Fairly cheap online but unsure how effective they would actually be. I assume sitting there doing nothing might not attract mustelids but if there was a little movement, say they were hanging from their tail in the lure section of the DOC150 box and there was some movement with the wind this might trigger a response from a mustelid?

I have successfully used mice and rats in my DOC200 traps to catch stoats.
The difference is that they were freshly caught and killed in my tunnel traps.
I rub their backside on the entrance and inside of the trap. It’s their scent that attracted the stoats. Your idea has merit by no smell.
