GPS function not working in background

Hi folks - currently working on version 6.0.10. The gps function doesn’t update unless the screen is on, despite the settings active for ‘allow all the time’. Also note that the tally bar across the top is missing.
Have reloaded the app to see if this fixes it but no joy.
Can you advise on a fix?

Hi Jamie,

By reloaded do you mean re-installed? If not I would suggest ensuring your logs are all sync’d and then reinstall it.

Failing that we will need all the details (phone type, possibly project.)

Hi there Andy – that was just a ‘reset app’ from the Settings-Advanced list. Have fully reinstalled but the GPS location still isn’t updating except when the screen is on & the tally banner is still absent. Also, when I first started the app again the traps weren’t showing after I started to ‘walk’ the line, only the lines. Stopped the ‘walk’, closed the app & they came back.

The phone is an S20, projects were Papa Aroha & Moehau. Let me know if you need more details around the lines or dates.
