Make Trap Maintenance Notes Visible in the App

Who is this for:
Teams who rotate responsibility for checking traps along a trapline.

What do they need:
Easy visibility of trap‑specific notes to support maintenance tasks while out in the field.

Why they need it:
A trapper may not have access to a computer while working, or may forget to check the online notes before heading out. When they arrive at a bait/equipment collection point, they may have no way to view the trap notes needed for maintenance.

Feature suggestion:
Within the App: Lines → [Select Trapline] → Maintenance Required (checkbox) When “Maintenance Required” is selected, the trap’s notes become visible directly in the app.

After completing the maintenance, the trapper can select a “Maintenance Completed” checkbox. This would clear the notes from view and remove the maintenance‑required status.

The most useful suggestion for the App I have seen for a long time. For one of the projects I volunteer on, the Managers append to the name/code of the trap a brief description of the problem or solution (e.g. “box broken” or “needs screw”. That extended name will appear on the map in the app, as long as you have synced before heading out. This work-around is very messy but I can’t see any other way apart from sarah_c’s suggetion.
