Couple of questions around recording new monitoring events when using a device (like the cacophony thermal camera) which automatically records multiple events.
Would it be possible to add a “time” field to the monitoring event import? It would relate to the “start date” field (the start and end date is the same in automated monitoring like this)
Have you seen the api for trap events? https://api.trap.nz/
I have fashioned a clumsy sensor to tell me the trap has been sprung which talks to this api, but I don’t think it can be applied to monitoring just yet.
@mach it should possible to extend the start/end date field to include the time.
The app sends monitoring records via the API, so yes it does exist, but it isn’t publicly documented. We could look at opening this up if there is a need for it…
