Is there a way to pre-set the toxin and weight info online for all the bait lines so the volunteers can quickly just the app, e.g getting the weight set so complete slide is correct weight.
Had a search and can’t find anything.
Thanks

@mikep when my group changes toxin type, I make sure to send them a checklist of all the numbers they need to put in for the “add bait type” page. Common mistakes I’ve seen include people putting in the wrong formulation (e.g. pellet instead of block) and putting in the active ingredient number straight off the label in g/kg instead of %.
It can be a bit tricky if projects are using more than one type of bait station - I suppose one could create separate bait types for each max fill size though. Getting the right max fill size for their stations should hopefully help your volunteers fix the slider-size issue (until we get the new options @lenore-admin mentioned).
Note that the “name” field for the “add bait type” currently does not carry through into the actual installation record on the website, it’s just to help the trapper select the correct bait info on their app, so make sure to duplicate any important info using the Notes field - e.g. we had two different brands of bait in use, but both were 28g blocks with 0.005% diphacinone, so indistinguishable from one another in the dataset without adding a note to the visit record.
Here’s the link to the help page, with a step-by-step video, in case your volunteers need a hand getting their apps set up. Bait station records | Trap.NZ Help & User guides
