Query regarding Trapper vs Advanced trapper Authority

Hi,

Recently I found a trap in our project had been Retired. Retiring a trap is an option on the phone app. Our trappers have Advanced Trapper authority and are assigned the traps that they can update. Does this mean they can Retire a trap assigned to them?

If they only had Trapper authority, could they also Retire the trap?

In the Project administration Help function under ‘Description of role permissions’
Trappers and Advanced Trappers

  • Can view, edit, and add records to installations which they’ve added, or have been assigned to.

The ability to Retire the trap is not mentioned.

@jaybee yes, anyone assigned an installation has the ability to retire it

Just to confirm, with just Trapper authority you can still retire a trap?

@jaybee yes, as long as you have been assigned an installation, you can retire it on the field app and in the website via the “edit” tab
