Retired Bait Station Still Shows on App

Hi, I’ve retired a bait station (several times) and so it doesn’t show up on the web site view.

But it is still there on the app. The label is: “144 - Pied Piper”

App:

Website:

@davidnblake36 have you tried synching your app?

Yes I have. It’s still there.

@davidnblake36 Try resetting your phone app, I have pasted the link to the help document detailing the steps to do this here. Resetting the trap.nz ... | Trap.NZ Help & User guides

I have tried that, it didn’t help.

Hi David,

Are you still seeing the yellow icon in the header after the reset?

Note I’ve loaded the project in the app and it is not showing that bait station.

Andy

No, I’m not seeing a yellow icon.

And it’s still on the app. Here’s a screenshot again:

It’s he “144 - Pied Piper” one.

I guess I can try and retire it again since the app reset?

Mōrena David,

It is already marked as retired in the system so repeating that won’t help.

You are on an older release of the app by the way, I would suggest upgrading and see if that changes things.

Cheers,
Andy

I always thought apps like this update in the background. Can that be set up?

I have updated (only way I could see to do it was uninstall and re-install.

And it’s gone!

Ta.

@davidnblake36 automatic updates can be applied via your app store settings (not via the trap.nz app)

I see this. Auto update was already on. Presumably it was before?

And I get the message re the Beta, even though I’ve just uninstalled and reinstalled yesterday…

@davidnblake36 you must have been part of the app testing at some stage, if you don’t want to continue as a tester, I would recommend uninstalling the beta version and installing the open version

Yes I was.

How do I uninstall the beta version?

@davidnblake36 there should be a button on the Play Store app to ‘Leave Beta Program’ (or similar.)

No…

I took another screenshot, scrolled down a bit. I see this:

@davidnblake36 it looks like you aren’t in the beta from the screenshot.
