Be good to be able to upload pest sighting locations as well, such as Stoats

Thanks for that - yes ad-hoc sightings (and hearings of Kiwi calls, etc) are planned.

5 minute bird counts would be interesting to record over time.

In a similar manner, could you add other points of interest? Like for example pest plant locations.

There is a “Notes” field where you can enter anything not captured by the more specific fields.

Kia ora,
This feature would be a wonderful addition to capturing data for TrapNZ. I see it was requested in 2019 and they were planned at that stage. Can I also request scat, scent and sightings as a recordable feature? As when we get conservation dogs it is useful for operational scale incursions to record their findings within TrapNZ, where our responses are already recorded (trail camera data, traps and poisons used).
