We are using Run Through Bait Stations on our lifestyle block and use Connovation’s RatAbate paste as the toxin.
We go through a lot of it, some of which is going to slugs and snails, but I managed to catch Sparrows on camera having a feeding frenzy which is not what we want.
I am considering swapping to using traps in the Run Trough tunnels instead, but before doing so, is there a Gen1 toxin (we have a Lab) in a different form that birds are less likely to try and eat?
We also have a couple of DOC200’s that very rarely catch anything, but there are plenty of rats and mustelids around due to the wetland we border. With these we use Connovation’s Eraze Jerky Blocks and an Egg as lures. Any better recommendations to try?
