Splitting a project into two (or more) smaller projects

Kia ora,

I manage a project which started as a large catchment-wide initiative but is now mostly run as two separate projects. For ease of management and reporting, it would make sense to split the original project into two projects. It looks like I can create the new projects then move all the installations and lines from the original project to the appropriate new one. I have a couple of questions before I do this:

  1. Will all the historic data associated with the installations be moved too?
  2. Is there another (possibly easier) way to split the project into two?

@Myles_Mackintosh start by creating the two seperate projects this is the steps to merging projects however, it can also be used to seperate them as well Merging two projects | Trap.NZ Help & User guides if you want some help cotact support@trap.nz and we can set up an online meeting to cover the steps. When you move the installations this way it also takes the attached records as well
