Wondering if a trap, bait station and monitoring coverage feature could be added, either as a stand alone function or a report. This gives a graphic representation of total trapline coverage area in Ha size and circumference around trap. Great to determine any gaps in trapline and a sliding scale for coverage area could be used to adapt to specific trap type etc.

Yes, agreed. Here is an example from trap.nz data ported to QGIS. It will be fairly simple to do Trap.nz and will likely be a feature in the Design Tool first.
This is monitored cages, bait stations and kill traps, with ‘our’ range value based on species targeted, and interaction rate of traps. It’s indicative only, but combined with last service dates, it gives a good enough feel for coverage.

Certainly scope to do so and entirely possible in the system.
