After exporting some bait data from TrapNZ in csv format and opening in Excel, I noticed that the concentration field had been rounded off to 2dp. Since the majority of our baiting is with common diphacinone brands at 0.005%, all those values display as 0.01% until the number formatting of the cell is changed.
Opening the file in another program, such as Notepad, has the original values as entered, so I don’t know where the rounding format came from! I’m sharing here in case anyone else has the same issue in future, and/or knows why Excel decided to round my bait concentration percentages to 2dp but leave heaps of unnecessary zeros in the bait weight columns.
