Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy the VASALAID Live Animal Trap Cage (24×7×8 in) for catching stray cats, rabbits, squirrels, and other small animals safely, but I want some real user feedback first.
Has anyone actually used it? How effective is it for indoor and outdoor use? Is it easy to set up and fold?
I’d really appreciate honest reviews, pros and cons, or any tips before buying.

I’ve used them for cats/possums… baited for cats, but the possums don’t know the difference. 
I find that the trigger mechanism can be damaged or bent through hard use and then the trap doesn’t trigger as readily as you’d want it to.
We’ve had much better success with double-ended traps like the Tāwhiti Smart Cage. The trigger is rugged but sensitive. The trap is very easy to lock open. The newer cages are longer as well which is good for some of the cats that are quite large.
I think the traps can be purchased without a sensor so you don’t have to pay for that tech if you don’t have a LoRa network.
