It appears that a project member assigned to the “Advanced Trapper” role (who can otherwise see all traps within a project) cannot get the correct output from the “Trap date last checked with map” report (Trap date last checked | Trap.NZ).
This looks like a bug to me.
The report works for the “Manager” role but we have quite a few DOC staff who have been added to our project so they can view what’s going on within the project but who don’t want or need to modify anything. So the “Advanced Trapper” role more or less works for that - except for this particular report as I’ve just discovered.
Really, it seems to me there should ideally be another role altogether, effectively a read-only Manager. Perhaps that could also be considered, or better still, even a way for Administrators to control access in a more granular fashion so that (for example) sponsors of traps (which we also have) could have read-only access to the trapping data for the traps they have sponsored but nothing more. And so on - generally more flexibility.
